A recording of me typing on my havit kb390l mechanical keyboard with kailh low profile blue switches in them. The clicky sound is produced by a clickbar inside the keyswitch which produces an audible click on both the down and upstroke, differing from normal mechanical keyboards which tend to only click on the downstroke. Recording taken with my blue yeti nano.

For the recording process, i typed a bunch of keys on my keyboard. That's right! it's actually typing sounds. Use this for a person playing fortnite or something in your videos.

This was recorded inside my room with a tonor mic. The keyboard used is a very old lenovo keyboard, but it still sounds pretty decent. Feel free to use this wherever you want.

I recorded using a zoom h6 with a xy mic and foam screen and handheld. I placed the mic above the keyboards and typed. I started typing at a slow pace and then fast. The first sounds are on a wireless key board and the second were on a laptop keyboard. Recorded for a school project for a sfx library.

The sound of a hermes baby travel typewriter in action, typing sentences. The paper is initially wound up, then typing begins, then there is the ding at the end of each line. This continues for a few lines before the paper is removed. This was recorded in-person with a tascam dr-40 stereo recorder. Public domain: i have released this audio file into the public domain. I typed quite slow in the beginning if you need to edit out and synch with your footage, if you just want typing sound in the background i think the best is in the end of the clip. The mouse clicking comes later in the clip. I've mixed it a bit but might need more mixing. With my new mic i decided to type away all my sorrows and problems, and this was the result (that was a joke, if you couldn't tell lol. ) but yeah, turned out to be quite aggressive so use if you want to portray some internet trolls or whatever floats your boat. The beautiful sounds of office life. This is audible interference from a cheap ballast in a florescent light fixture--or several in close proximity. (it's probably violating fcc regulations with rf output too. ) this was recorded with an iphone builtin mic, then processed to isolate the sound. It's a beeping / humming at around 3,800 hz. Each beep lasts about 1 second, followed by a half-second of silence before the next beep. Toward the end of this recording, it shifts slightly upward in pitch, to around 4,000 hz. Some typing on a keyboard can be heard in the foreground. (it's an office, after all. ).
